This Lancaster PA made, aged cheddar cheese is highlighted with hot Habanero peppers. The flavor level of the habanero is high, but it does not cover the aged cheddar flavor that is the base. This is a well balanced blend of aged cheddar flavor and habanero flavor. It has a variegated red/white color which makes it stand out in appearance.
On heat scales, this product would be in the moderate to very hot, but it is not extreme in its heat.
Needless to say, people who don’t like hot peppers will not be attracted to this cheddar. It has a serious heat quality.
