A natural raw milk artisanal cheese produced right here in Lawrenceville. Cherry Grove Farm started making cheese from the milk of the mainly Jersey cows some 4 years ago and have now got a nice range of cheeses. All hard cheeses are raw milk and made with milk from grass-fed cows. The farm’s milking season is from early spring to late fall.
The Herdsman is a pressed cheese in the French tome tradition. It is aged for a minimum of 3 months. It is a mild, nutty cheese that melts quite well, but is equally at home on a cracker or just on its own
