Knekkebrod is an age-old Scandinavian crispbread that is traditionally made following a family recipe passed down through generations. Hedvig Bourbon discovered her family's recipe and started to make her own in Brooklyn, NY. Naturally wheat-free, full of fibrous material and whole grains, knekkebrod is a healthy base for anything at breakfast and lunch. We, of course, recommend it as a means of transport for your favorite cheese. For this particular version Hedvig added some sea salt flakes which will bring out sweet flavors in anything you decide to load on.
